ASL digging below the gravel to reach a galvanised inspection chamber near Windsor

This is very much Gerry’s area, as he has lived locally for some time. While carrying out an estimate near the garden centre, he was called to a nearby property in Ascot with private drainage issues.

When Gerry arrived, he found a galvanised inspection chamber beneath the gravel that was not properly sealed. Surface water was entering the chamber and private system, causing it to fill and overflow.

ASL’s sewage tanker was called in to empty the system, allowing a full investigation. We then provided a report outlining our findings and available options. Rather than relying on the existing private system, we recommended installing a pumping station and connecting the property to the public sewer at the end of the road.

The necessary surveys were completed, and a new pumping station was installed and connected to the public sewer. The customer moved from a repeatedly overloaded private system to a permanent mains drainage solution, with the investigation, tanker work, survey and installation all handled by ASL’s own teams.
