One of our engineers was called to a blocked drain in Basingstoke. After clearing it, a complimentary 10-minute CCTV look-see survey revealed the real cause: tree root ingress that had broken into the pipe.

ASL brought in specialist root-cutting equipment, cleared the roots and cleaned the drain, then installed a structural liner to seal and strengthen the pipe. That gave the customer a permanent repair rather than a temporary one.

With the drain sorted, the customer asked ASL to look at water pooling on their gravel driveway, and that problem was solved as well. It is a good example of how ASL identifies the cause, fixes it properly and helps the customer with the next problem too, rather than simply clearing a blockage and leaving.
