How can we provide a Guarantee?

It seems our latest promotion of a 12-month guarantee has raised some confusion and apprehension among our social following and we would like to clarify what it means. 

In our years of experience, we know that there is always a cause for a blocked drain. The nature of that cause can vary, and in many cases, they can also be prevented.

We also know from our experience that there are variations of blocked drain engineers.

There are those who will attend your blocked drain call out and clear your drain, say no more and be on their way. They will then happily return when you call them again 2 months down the line to clear it again, and again.

There are those who will attempt to clear your drain, get so far with it and then inform you that they can't clear it and will need to go get a friend or better equipment and come back in order to clear it (or not).

Then there are OUR blocked drain engineers, who will:
💧 Clear your blocked drain in good time because we carry all the necessary equipment we may need;
💧 Do a 'quick look camera survey' of the drain to find out exactly what the problem was and inform you of that knowledge;
💧 If the blockage was caused by damage or disrepair, they will let you know and arrange for a free quotation of the work involved to put it right because we have the teams to do that on speed dial;
💧 Inform you of possible future causes that you can avoid, like fat, grease and oil;
💧 And, basically, do all they can to help you ensure the drain isn't blocked again.

Because at ASL Limited, we genuinely want to help you with your drainage and keep it flowing so you are happy customers. With this in mind, we know that when we leave you with your cleared drain, you have everything you need in your power to keep it clear and not have it block again.

So if you don't put down your drain the things that could block it; and we know there is no damage to your drain at the time of the survey then we can Guarantee it won't get blocked for at least 12 months AND that if it does block again we will unblock it for FREE.

Why not more than 12 months? Well if your drains are fine at the time of our survey but there are pesky tree roots growing around it there is the chance that they will break through and that we cannot guarantee won't happen.

The things that would prevent our Guaranteeing your drain are:
🔺 Root ingress that needs removal and repair to the drain.
🔺 Collapsed or damaged drains from disrepair.
🔺 Fat, grease or oil clogging up the drain.

Of course if you have your drain repaired and we then know it is not damaged we can then apply the Guarantee. But we can't be sure of anything in a drain unless we have a look, which is why this is tied to our blocked drain clearance service.
